Overnight train ride to Beijing
Chinese Trains have Hard Seats, Soft Seats, Hard Sleepers, and Soft Sleepers. The train itself will be an experience. They are often very crowded - most Westerners don't take the train - but it will add dimension to our China trip. Again the travel light concept is wise. Interesting Chinese things to see along the way before the sun sets. They have dinning cars, but I would suggest we all pack water, dinner, and snacks with us. We will be in Beijing by morning.
