Share the adventure with our Doane Students traveling to China May 23rd - June 9th, 2007

In this new century, it is clear that China will be one of the big stories in the news. Yet most of us know very little about this extraordinary country, and the way in which it will affect our world in years to come. This interterm trip is a chance for Doane College students and guests to experience China’s society and culture. Our goal is to see China in transition, where the old ways, though disappearing, still exist, being replaced by an immerging modern significant force. Students will travel throughout China, visiting Shanghai, Beijing, and other key cities, and explore China by bus, train, air, and ship in "an adventure through time" to experience a 5000-year-old culture.
